About
The National Invitational Tournament will launch in the Fall of 2017. The first National Invitational will take place at Paiute Resort in Las Vegas on the same weekend and at the same facility as the National Championship.
Key Features of the National Invitational
- The winner of the National Invitational will receive a bid to the Spring 2018 NCCGA National Championship
- Players will have the chance to meet and compete against Srixon Tour Pro Smylie Kaufman on Saturday after the round
- The National Invitational will provide more teams of a similar skill level an opportunity to compete and win a national tournament
- Teams that are only able to play in one NCCGA regional tournament will be eligible to qualify for the National Invitational
Schedule
Pre-Tournament
Practice Rounds (Thursday & Friday)
7:00 AM — 6:00 PM
Tournament participants are able to schedule practice rounds up to a week before the National Invitational at a discounted rate of 25% off the standard pricing. Practice rounds need to be booked directly with the golf course by calling (702) 658-1400. Practice rounds are first-come, first-serve and are subject to availability. Teams and individuals are recommended to book practice rounds ASAP to ensure availability. The National Invitational will be played on the Sun Mountain course each day. On Friday at 10am there will be a shotgun on the Snow Mountain Course open to the first 120 players for $55 per player. You must reserve a place in the 10am shotgun with the NCCGA staff.

Careers in Golf Networking Event (Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino, food provided)

Interested in working in the golf industry? Ever wonder how to get a golf job or internship? Want to meet the hiring managers at some of the largest golf employers in the US? Need help with your resume or want advice on how to get a golf job?
The NCCGA is committed to helping our community off the course just as much as on the course. We have secured some of the top employers in golf to join us in Las Vegas to have an informal networking event during registration at the National Championship. Students will have the opportunity to schedule 5 minute interviews with each company attending. The NCCGA will also have staff on-site to help students with career and resume advice. Learn More
Gift Bag Pick-up and Registration (Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino)
5:00 PM — 8:00 PM
Tournament participants may register at any point between 5-8pm at the Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino on Friday night. Players will register and receive their gift bags. Teams need to register during their allocated time slots between 5-6, 6-7, or 7-8. Registration times
Saturday
The shotgun on the Sun Mountain course will take place at 10am. For the first time the Sponsor Contests and Grand Raffle will take place on Saturday after the round on the range.

In order to arrive on time for the (optional, but recommended) registration and gift bag pick up on Friday, teams will want to arrive the evening of Thursday the 31st or morning of Friday the 1st. If you are flying, it is recommended not to book flights Sunday before 7:00 PM. Any groups needing to leave early will receive double par for any unfinished holes.

Transportation Options
The NCCGA is sponsoring a shuttle for full tournament transportation from the airport to hotel and hotel to golf course. You will not need to rent a car for the Championship. Please speak to the NCCGA staff to schedule your airport shuttles. Transportation between the golf course and hotel will be on a set schedule daily. If you miss your scheduled shuttle, the NCCGA is not responsible for transportation to the course and an alternative form of transportation is needed (Uber or taxi).

Lodging
Friday and Saturday night lodging included in tournament package price for teams (not individuals). Lodging for individual NCCGA participants is not included in the tournament price, but may be booked under the NCCGA discount block (email champ@nccga.org for details).
