As we continue to get to know a few of the teams heading to the City Tour Championship this week, today we're talking to Team Baylor
Q: How did you get involved with Nextgengolf?
I've been very involved in the NCCGA during my time at Baylor. I started the Baylor Club Golf team in 2012, and served as the NCCGA Texas Regional Coordinator and Vice President. I wanted to keep our current and alumni club golfers playing, so we formed a team to compete in the Dallas City Tour during the summer.
Q. What have you enjoyed most about the City Tour?
I enjoyed playing new golf courses in Dallas and interacting with other students/young professionals. I love the opportunity to keep playing competitively as well.
Q. What are you looking forward to most about the City Championship?
Cog Hill is going to be amazing. I'm excited to reconnect with NCCGA friends and travel again with my Baylor buddies.
Q. What makes a good Best Ball teammate?
Someone who is resilient under pressure when you are out of a hole. You have to have different style games, so you can "ham and egg" well.
Q. What makes your team unique?
Most of us are still in college, so this will serve as a prep for the NCCGA season coming up this fall!
