NCCGA Regional Ambassador Application
Want to Help Run NCCGA Tournaments?
- Must be a currently enrolled student, with at least 2 semesters remaining before graduation
- Must have experience at NCCGA tournaments
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable cell phone and computer access
- Regional Ambassadors are permitted to play in the regional tournaments they support
- Involved with Nextgengolf staff and PGA Professionals to support up to 3 tournaments per semester
- Follow the Nextgengolf provided tournament volunteer operations checklists before, during, and after the event
- Assist Club Presidents in your region by being welcoming, helping with operations of their club, and answering tournament questions, etc
- Communicate regularly with Nextgengolf full-time staff

Johnny Garstka | Clemson University
Former AJGA Tournament Director
Johnny Garstka served as the NCCGA's Southeast Regional Ambassador and was the Club President of the Clemson club team. He helped lead the Tigers to a NCCGA Championship, and has worked as an intern and full-time Tournament Director with the American Junior Golf Association.
Nick Heyrman | St Louis University
US Open and PGA Championship
Nick Heyrman served as the Central Regional Ambassador and also served as the NCCGA Student Director of Tournament Operations. He has worked for the US Open and the PGA Championship since graduating.
Baylor Comstock | University of Idaho
Intern at TPC Sawgrass
Baylor Comstock served as the Northwest Regional Ambassador, helping grow golf on the West Coast. Comstock also helped lead the Idaho club golf team, and completed a PGM internship at TPC Sawgrass in Florida.
