About
The Spring 2021 National Championship heads back to the east coast! Seaview in Atlantic City, a former Nextgengolf City Tour Championship host site, will welcome the best club golfers from across the country. Seaview will host the event on their Bay and Pines courses. The two courses present very different challenges and are top ranked courses in Atlantic City.
The National Championship is a 2-day, 36-hole stroke play event. National Champions from the Fall 2019 season Clemson University and winners of the Fall 2019 National Invitational University of Texas have automatic bids to this season's Championship. Competition will be tough with former champions and plenty of new talent competing.
Why Atlantic City?
Seaview is home to two world-class golf courses on an Atlantic Ocean seaside property. The ability to stay on-site at the resort will allow teams easier access to the golf courses and Atlantic City entertainment. Nationals was last in New Jersey in Spring 2014 at the Crystal Springs Resort. Teams from the Atlantic, New England, Metro and Philadelphia will get the chance for home field advantage after 6 years.
Seaview has hosted many famous events including the 1942 PGA Championship, Sam Snead's first major title. The Bay Course currently hosts the ShopRite LPGA Classic annually, which was won by Lexi Thompson in 2019. This year's LPGA event will be May 29-31, one month after the NCCGA National Championship!
Outside of golf, players can experience the entertainment on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. There are numerous options getting into Atlantic City including stops in two of the most famous cities in the world (Philadelphia and New York).
