2017 NCCGA Match Play National Championship
About
The first annual NCCGA Match Play National Championship will take place at Hot Springs Country Club in Arkansas. The red and blue teams will battle it out on the #1 and #2 golf courses you can play in the state by Golf.com.
The Match Play National Championship will feature 2-teams of 10 in a 36-hole format. Each individual match victory will result in 1 point and 0.5 for halved matches. Teams will be able to adjust lineups going into the final round on Friday.
Schedule
Pre-Tournament
Practice Rounds (Wednesday)
7:00 AM — 6:00 PM
Tournament participants are able to schedule practice rounds on Wednesday at a discounted rate of $55 walking or $75 riding. Practice rounds need to be booked directly with the golf course by calling (501) 623-4981. Practice rounds are first-come, first-serve and are subject to availability. Teams and individuals are recommended to book practice rounds ASAP to ensure availability.
Round 1
1:00 PM — Arlington Course
The first round of the tournament. Teams will compete in head-to-head individual match play matches with a winners earning their team 1 point, 0.5 points for halved matches.
Round 1
7:40 AM — Park Course
Teams will have the opportunity to re-seed before Round 2, and then will continue in match play format. The team at the end of both days with the most total points will be deemed the Match Play National Champion.
