After a rain out on Day 1, the first New England Regional became an 18 hole shootout at the Bay Pointe Club. Fighting wet conditions, the teams came out with strong scores and the desire to take the first steps towards punching a ticket to Disney. In the end, Providence College (A) narrowly edged out the University of Connecticut (A) by 3 strokes.
The NCCGA hosted our 1st golf tournament of the season in New England Region at The Bay Pointe Club on Oct 1, 2016. Team Providence College (A) won the division with a combined score of 386. The low individual score was recorded by Drew Brennan shooting a score of 72.
