Nextgengolf's City Tour is offering team based weekend tournaments in 14 cities this Summer for 18-34 year olds. In this 4-part series, we will be featuring the top golf courses that will be hosting City Tour events. If you need to get caught up, here is Part 1 and Part 2.
Bear's Best (Suwanee, GA)
Atlanta City Tournament #2 - Sunday July 19
Bear's best, managed by ClubCorp, is a high-end daily fee facility that gives you a private club experience. The course was named after the designer's strategy with the course. The Golden Bear himself, Jack Nicklaus, selected his favorite 18 holes from over 200 course designs he is responsible for and put them all into this one golf course. The holes are from courses in the United States, England, Ireland, and Scotland. The course features holes from famous courses such as Castle Pines, Muirfield Village, PGA National Championship Course, Sherwood Country Club, Shoal Creek, and Gleneagles. Similar to the TOUR 18 GC that the Houston City Tour players enjoyed this past weekend, Bear's Best will provide tournament participants with a diverse, fun, and challenging collection of holes.
Stonelick Hills GC (Batavia, OH)
Cinci Tour Tournament #3 - Sunday July 19
Opened in 2004, Stonelick Hills is a Cincinnati golf club that was constructed for golf lovers. Designed by Jeff Osterfeld, the course is built around heavily forested hills and dramatic natural ponds and lakes. The holes were designed to all be unique and each require strategy and thought to maintain a respectable score. The course has received several accolades in the past 10+ years. Golf Digest has ranked Stonelick #2 Best Public Course In Ohio and #17 Best Overall. Golf Week ranked Stonelick as high as #4 Best Public Access Golf Course in Ohio. The course has also hosted a variety of prestigious tournaments including Tri-State Amateur Championship (2006), GCGA Interclub Championship (2005), Duramed Futures Tour (2007), AJGA Junior All-Star (2011), and Ohio Intrastate Championship (2013).

Harbor Links Golf Course (Port Washington, NY)
NYC City Tournament #3 - Sunday July 12
Harbor Links is considered one of Long Island's best daily fee public golf course. The expansive facility includes an 18 hole championship course, 9 hole executive course, instructional facility, mini golf course, and banquet facilities. The links style course was designed to be environmentally friendly and this caused some unique situations on the course. Three holes have split fairways that force players to make a choice or their route off the tee. The course was built around wetlands, and it was designed to fit into the natural features of the area that used to be a mine.
Westfields Golf Club (Clifton, VA)
DC City Tournament #2 - Sunday July 26
Fred Couples designed Westfields Golf Club to be one of the top golf destinations in Virginia. Fred carved the golf course through the area's natural wetlands, rolling hills, and epic oak trees to provide a tranquil setting for a round of golf. The facility has been honored by several publications in the past 10 years for its exceptional course and service. Golf Digest named Westfields 1999's "Best New Course" and a Four Star "Best Place to Play" from 2003-2014. Golf Styles ranked Westfields as a "Top 25 Must Play in the Mid-Atlantic" and "Top 10 Public Courses in Virginia".
Stay tuned for Part 4 of the series, as we continue to feature the best golf courses the Nextgengolf City Tour will be hosting at this summer.
