This was the largest field in NCCGA history with 123 players registered, scores were pretty low despite some challenging pins on Sunday. The University of Texas followed up a solid Saturday performance with a better one on Sunday to hold off a charging Baylor A team who shot their team record round of 363. The Baylor B team had a strong showing finishing 3rd, with Baylor B team player Dalton Shettle winning the individual medalist shooting a score of 142 (-2)
The NCCGA hosted our 1st golf tournament of the season in Texas Region at Cottonwood Creek Golf Course on Sep 30, 2017. Team The University of Texas at Austin (A) won the division with a combined score of 737. The low individual score was recorded by Dalton Shettle shooting a score of 142.
