Tournament Report
Michigan golf in late October is always entertaining. Battling temperatures that never exceeded 45 degrees and strong wind, the Midwest region did their best to overcome the challenge. After a disappointing opening round 405 from Michigan, MSU held a commanding 10-stroke lead. However, the Wolverines took charge on day 2, turning a 10 stroke deficit into a 10 stroke victory, improving by 29 shots in round 2. The Spartans remained consistent with scores of 395 and 396. Michigan B team came in 3rd place with scores of 412 and 407. Tyler Rozwadowski and Luke Stull tied for first with Stull prevailing in a sudden death playoff that lasted two holes.
The NCCGA hosted our 2nd golf tournament of the season in Midwest Region at Eagle Crest Golf Club on Oct 28, 2017. Team University of Michigan (A) won the division with a combined score of 781. The low individual score was recorded by Tyler Rozwadowski shooting a score of 149.
