Apple Greens Golf Course provided a fun and challenging test for the 7 teams that entered the first NCCGA Metro Regional tournament. Rain cleared out on the second day and Yale University (A) won by 28 strokes over second place Fairfield University. Nicholas Young, of Albany State, put up two impressive rounds of 72-73 to win individual honors.
The NCCGA hosted our 1st golf tournament of the season in Metro Region at Apple Greens Golf Course on Oct 7, 2017. Team Yale University (A) won the division with a combined score of 769. The low individual score was recorded by Nicholas Young shooting a score of 145.
