Spring 2017 New England Region NCCGA Tournament

It was the first day Blackstone National was open. Blackstone was one of the most challenging layouts the New England region has played. Very much target golf. The course could be stretched out to 7k plus yards, but we played from about 6.5k for pace of play. Despite a full field and tight track, groups were moving along and the rounds took about 4.45. It was very wind the first day, which actually helped dry out the course, as on some parts of the course there was still snow. It wouldn't be New England if there were not snow on the golf courses April 8th!
