Battling through very windy conditions on Saturday and tough pin positions on Sunday, GCU pulled away from Golf Academy and earned a well deserved victory along with a bid to Nationals. ASU's Sam Glennon took him the individual title with a two day total of 150, prevailing on the second playoff hole over GCU's Joey Russo.
The NCCGA hosted our 2nd golf tournament of the season in Desert Region at Oakcreek Country Club on Apr 8, 2017. Team Grand Canyon University (A) won the division with a combined score of 762. The low individual score was recorded by Joey Russo shooting a score of 150.
