Spring 2017 Desert Region NCCGA Tournament

It was fairly strange for a Desert region tournament to have snow but we managed some decent scores despite the cold weather at Antelope Hills. Golf Academy-Chandler took an 8 shot lead after Day 1, but ASU and GCU both had great Day 2's and ended up tied for the lead. ASU won the tiebreaker for first and scored 6 points towards Nationals! Zach Capel from GCU came in 1st with a 142 (E) total for the weekend with teammate Jordan Yamamoto close behind with a 143 (+1) finish. Jack Hiemenz from ASU and Jacob Mccahon from Golf Academy tied for 3rd at 145 (+3).
