UW-Madison took the win for the second regional with the course playing tough with elevated greens and a lot of slope in them as well. With Lawsonia being one of the nicest facilities in Wisconsin, the NCCGA and club golfers across the region were tested but UW-Madison withstood the test to win the regional. A great tournament was had by all the teams that competed!
The NCCGA hosted our 2nd golf tournament of the season in North Region at The Golf Courses of Lawsonia on Oct 8, 2016. Team University of Wisconsin-Madison (A) won the division with a combined score of 772. The low individual score was recorded by Nils Arneson shooting a score of 149.
