Conditions at Menifee Lakes were good, but very challenging. UCLA came in strong both days and clinched their trip to Disney with their second tournament victory. Golf Academy of America-Carlsbad was a close second yet again, with one of their players, Adam Herald, posting a 69 on the first day. However it was overshadowed by Craig Buchholz of UCLA and his two day total of 3 under par. Overall the tournament was a success.
The NCCGA hosted our 2nd golf tournament of the season in Southwest Region at Menifee Lakes Country Club on Oct 29, 2016. Team UCLA won the division with a combined score of 738. The low individual score was recorded by Craig Buchholz shooting a score of 141.
