Fall 2016 North Carolina Region NCCGA Tournament

It came down to Sunday's round to determine who would qualify for Nationals. UNC Chapel Hill won the Regional with a two day total of 759 closely followed by UNC Wilmington A team with a total of 763. UNC Wilmington clinched a Nationals bid finishing first and second in both regional tournaments. The individual title this weekend came down to Sunday as Joey Funderburg of UNC Wilmington fired a 71-74 to finish three strokes ahead of Thomas Messenheimer from UNC Chapel Hill. Thank you to the staff at Carolina National as they did a fantastic job maintaining the course as well as assisting with the tournament.
