The tournament came off to a rough start in the Desert Region, with a cool breeze and quick greens. As the tournament went on the greens got quicker, it was a putting man's event. The low on day one was 77, due to the challenging weather. Day two came off to a worst start as scores rose and weather was colder. But the winner escapes by only a few..
The NCCGA hosted our 2nd golf tournament of the season in Desert Region at Silver Creek Golf Club on Oct 15, 2016. Team Arizona State University (A) won the division with a combined score of 797. The low individual score was recorded by Jordan Yamamoto shooting a score of 155.
