Fall 2021 Texas Region NCCGA Tournament

Day 1 of the Texas Regional Tournament #1 was full of low scores. It was both a hot one in temperatures and players catching fire with many under par rounds, 4 to be exact. At the end of day 1, Baylor's Dalton Shettle held a narrow 1 shot lead over 2 competitors after shooting a 3-under 69. Day two however was a bit tougher. The wind picked up, and matched with some difficult pin locations, meaning low scores were hard to come by. Still, Baylors' Tony Palumbo and Will Hedberg led the field with a 1-under 143 by the end of 36 holes. The playoff was won by Tony, his first Texas Region tournament and win!
