Tournament Report

It was hot and humid at the first NCCGA Ozark Regional Tournament in Shawnee, OK, at Firelake Golf Course. The newcomers to the region, College of the Ozarks, took home the win with a team total of +88 on the weekend with 3 players in the top 8, followed by Oklahoma State at +100 with 2 players finishing top 8. Benjamin Brandt of Oklahoma State came in 1st totaling +9 for the weekend, with Kolton Giefer from College of the Ozarks not too far behind, coming in 2nd at +11. The rest of the all-tournament team: 3rd- Staurt Jacobs, College of the Ozarks. 4th- Sean Dobson, University of Oklahoma. 5th- Hannah Aherin, College of the Ozarks. 6th- Erik Till, University of Oklahoma. 7th- Riley Gitthens, Oklahoma State. 8th- Brady Nelson, University of Oklahoma. The University of Oklahoma had all 4 players in the top 10, and they're in the hunt for the next regional tournament at The Creeks Golf Course in Cave Springs, Arkansas.
The NCCGA hosted our 1st golf tournament of the season in Ozark Region at FireLake Golf Course on Sep 18, 2021. Team College of the Ozarks won the division with a combined score of 788. The low individual score was recorded by Benjamin Brandt shooting a score of 149.
