Not a typical weekend from the Great Lakes Region golfers....Steady 15 mph winds, and 50 degree temperatures made playing conditions tough... not to mention "tucked" hole locations tougher than most at this years U.S Open. Hunter Simonini lead ISU (A) to Victory with a 78-82, good enough for 3rd place. DePaul (A) claimed 2nd place. Chris Bell an individual from University of Illinois shot 77-80 for Medalist Honors.
The NCCGA hosted our 1st golf tournament of the season in Great Lakes Region at Cantigny GC on Oct 8, 2016. Team Illinois State University (A) won the division with a combined score of 833. The low individual score was recorded by Chris Bell shooting a score of 157.
