The humid air and cold morning rain made the first 9 holes a challenge, but the sun came out for the back 9 at the third regional tournament in New Kent, Va. Jared Grinde from Virginia Tech's Club Golf Team managed to best Campbell Rand from University of Richmond by one shot to claim the medalist honors. Royal New Kent proved to be a tough course with a lot of blind shots, but Jared still managed to card a one over par 73 on Sunday.
The NCCGA hosted our 3rd golf tournament of the season in Colonial Region at Royal New Kent Golf Club on Oct 27, 2019. Team Virginia (A) won the division with a combined score of 434. The low individual score was recorded by Jared Grinde shooting a score of 73.
