Spring 2019 Southwest Region NCCGA Tournament

We had a great event at Carlton Oaks Country Club this weekend. Although rain wasn’t an issue like last tournament, the Pete Dye layout seemed to test players. Chase McIntosh again battled Matthew Lee-tolley for best first round score but found a way to secure the win yet again, this time with a total of 10 over, 154. Unfortunately, SDSU lost a player due to injury, resulting in a team disqualification. This left USC and USD to battle it out. It was neck and neck between USC and USD for team scores but USC prevailed, beating USD by a total of 6 shots. The NCCGA hosted our 2nd golf tournament of the season in Southwest Region at Tierra Rejada Golf Club on Apr 6-7, 2019. Team University of Southern California won the division with a combined score of 860. The low individual score was recorded by Chase Mcintosh shooting a score of 154.
