The wind was quite fierce and the air was very cool, but NCCGA Northwest Regional Tournament 1 came down to the wire. Central Washington University held on for a 4 stroke team victory over Western Washington University, who was making their club golf debut. Liam Sahil Bhakta of Oregon took home medalist honors this weekend, edging out Adam Nutt of Western Washington by 2 strokes.
The NCCGA hosted our 1st golf tournament of the season in Northwest Region at Horn Rapids Golf Club on Oct 13, 2018. Team Central Washington University won the division with a combined score of 861. The low individual score was recorded by Liam sahil Bhakta shooting a score of 158.
